Racquetball on Rankelo

What a racquetball league looks like here.

Rankelo is built around a sport abstraction: every sport brings its own scoring rules, and the leagues, fixtures and standings work the same whatever you play. This is what racquetball brings.

A tiebreaker that runs to 11

Games one and two go to 15; the decider goes to 11. Rankelo applies the shorter target to the last possible game only, so a result is checked against the right number.

Won by one point

A racquetball game ends exactly on its target — 15-14 is legal, 16-14 is not — and that is what the app enforces.

Singles and doubles

Racquetball doubles ships alongside singles, with named pairs ranked as teams on the same table.

League types

  • Racquetball— one player per side
  • Racquetball Doubles— a named pair per side

Individual and team leagues are separate leagues, so a club can run both from one account.

How it works

From idea to racquetball standings in four steps.

  1. 1

    Create a league

Pick racquetball — or racquetball doubles — and choose best of three with a tiebreaker, or a single game to 15.

  2. 2

    Add the players

A name is enough — they do not need an account. Add an email too and they link to their own match history automatically the day they register.

  3. 3

    Open the league

Rankelo generates the fixtures for every pairing, once or as many times as you set. If the roster changes later the schedule reconciles — matches already played are kept.

  4. 4

    Play

A player enters 15-12, 11-15, 11-8. Rankelo checks the decider against its own target and the table moves.

Scoring & standings

How racquetball is scored in Rankelo.

Racquetball is the sport that shaped how Rankelo stores targets: two regular games to 15, a decider to 11, and every game won by a single point. Rather than a fixed list of targets, a league states the regular target and the decider target, so changing the match format never breaks the scoring.

A race to a targetEach row is a race to a point target won by a margin, and the row tally decides the match.

Match formats you can choose

  • Single game — One game to 15 — with no third game there is no tiebreaker to speak of.
  • Best of three games — Two games to 15 and a tiebreaker to 11. The default.

Points systems a racquetball league can pick from

Chosen per league, and changeable at any time — switch it and every match already played is re-scored.

  • 3 for a win, 1 for a game taken in defeat (default)
  • 2 for a win, 1 for a game taken in defeat
  • 3 for a win, 1 for a loss
  • 2 for a win, 1 for a loss
  • 1 for a win, nothing for a loss
  • 3 for a win in straight games, 2 and 1 when it goes to a tiebreaker

There is no best-of-five format: the sport is played to two games and a tiebreaker, so offering one would only invite a result the rules do not recognise.

Features

Everything a racquetball league actually needs.

Standings that follow your rules

Three points for a win and one for a game taken in defeat, then head-to-head, game difference and point difference. Every column is recalculated on entry, not overnight.

Automatic fixtures

Every pairing × your chosen number of meetings, generated in one click when the league opens.

Players without accounts

Add someone by name and the league can start right away. They register with the same email later and pick up their matches.

Public standings

Share a link and anyone can open the table — no login, no account, nothing to install.

On your phone, in your language

Enter the score where you played it. The app runs in English and Slovenian, light or dark.

Traceable results

Every entry records who submitted it and when. Corrections go through a league admin, so the table never quietly changes.

FAQ

Racquetball leagues, answered.

Yes. A league states a regular target of 15 and a decider target of 11, and Rankelo applies the decider target to the last possible game of the format only. Enter 11-8 as a third game and it validates; enter it as a first game and it does not.

One court, one table, no admin.

Create a league in a minute, add your group, and let Rankelo do the counting.
