A badminton league that runs the hall, not a spreadsheet.
Rankelo is a free badminton league app for clubs, halls and the group that books the same two courts every week. Create a singles or doubles league, and the full fixture list appears when it opens. Players post their own games and the standings follow.
No credit card. No cap on leagues or players. Signing up takes a minute.
Badminton on Rankelo
What a badminton league looks like here.
Rankelo is built around a sport abstraction: every sport brings its own scoring rules, and the leagues, fixtures and standings work the same whatever you play. This is what badminton brings.
The cap at 30 is real
Games run to 21 and are won by two, but stop at 30 — so 24-22 counts, 30-29 counts, and 31-29 is refused. Badminton is the only sport here with a ceiling, and it is enforced.
Singles and doubles
Badminton doubles ranks named pairs as teams. A hall running both from one account is the usual case, not the awkward one.
Best of three, or a single game
Best of three is the default. A club night with a queue for the court runs single games and everything else stays the same.
League types
- Badminton— one player per side
- Badminton Doubles— a named pair per side
Individual and team leagues are separate leagues, so a club can run both from one account.
How it works
From idea to badminton standings in four steps.
- 1
Create a league
Pick badminton — or badminton doubles for a league of pairs — then best of three or a single game, and how many times each pairing meets.
- 2
Add the players
A name is enough — they do not need an account. Add an email too and they link to their own match history automatically the day they register.
- 3
Open the league
Rankelo generates the fixtures for every pairing, once or as many times as you set. If the roster changes later the schedule reconciles — matches already played are kept.
- 4
Play
A player enters 21-18, 19-21, 21-15 from the hall. The table reorders before the next pair is on court.
Scoring & standings
How badminton is scored in Rankelo.
Badminton is a run of games, each a race to 21 points won by two — but unlike every other race-to-target sport here, it has a ceiling. At 29-29 the next rally takes the game, so 30-29 is the highest score a badminton game can produce, and Rankelo will not accept a higher one.
A race to a targetEach row is a race to a point target won by a margin, and the row tally decides the match.

Features
Everything a badminton league actually needs.
Standings that follow your rules
Three points for a win and one for a game taken in defeat, then head-to-head, game difference and point difference — recalculated the instant a result goes in.
Automatic fixtures
Every pairing × your chosen number of meetings, generated in one click when the league opens.
Players without accounts
Add someone by name and the league can start right away. They register with the same email later and pick up their matches.
Public standings
Share a link and anyone can open the table — no login, no account, nothing to install.
On your phone, in your language
Enter the score where you played it. The app runs in English and Slovenian, light or dark.
