A padel league that counts itself.

Rankelo is a free padel league app for clubs and the group that books the same court every week. Create a league of pairs, and every pairing is scheduled the moment it opens. Scores go in from the court and the table reorders on the spot.

Padel on Rankelo

What a padel league looks like here.

Rankelo is built around a sport abstraction: every sport brings its own scoring rules, and the leagues, fixtures and standings work the same whatever you play. This is what padel brings.

Pairs are first-class

Padel is a doubles game, so padel doubles leagues rank named pairs as teams. Give the pair a name and it carries its own record all season.

Tennis scoring, exactly

Games to six, sets, best of three. Padel inherits tennis scoring in Rankelo, so a 6-4 3-6 7-5 goes in the way you would say it out loud.

Every pair plays every pair

Round robin as standard. Choose one meeting or two, and the full fixture list appears when the league opens.

League types

  • Padel— one player per side
  • Padel Doubles— a named pair per side

Individual and team leagues are separate leagues, so a club can run both from one account.

How it works

From idea to padel standings in four steps.

  1. 1

    Create a league

Pick padel — or padel doubles for a league of pairs — then the match format and how many times each pairing meets.

  2. 2

    Add the players

A name is enough — they do not need an account. Add an email too and they link to their own match history automatically the day they register.

  3. 3

    Open the league

Rankelo generates the fixtures for every pairing, once or as many times as you set. If the roster changes later the schedule reconciles — matches already played are kept.

  4. 4

    Play

A player enters the set scores from the court. The standings reorder immediately, so the group chat gets a table instead of an argument.

Scoring & standings

How padel is scored in Rankelo.

Padel scores exactly as tennis does — games to six, sets, best of three — so it uses tennis scoring outright in Rankelo. What makes padel its own game happens on court: walls, the underarm serve and the golden point change how a point is won, but not what the final score records.

A run of setsA set is a game count with no fixed ending, and the side that takes more sets wins.

Match formats you can choose

  • Single set — One set decides it — for a club night with a queue for the court.
  • Best of three sets — The default, and what almost every padel league plays.
  • Best of five sets — Available if your league wants it.

Separating competitors level on points

Points systems a padel league can pick from

Chosen per league, and changeable at any time — switch it and every match already played is re-scored.

  • 3 for a win, 1 for a set taken in defeat (default)
  • 2 for a win, 1 for a set taken in defeat
  • 3 for a win, 1 for a loss
  • 2 for a win, 1 for a loss
  • 1 for a win, nothing for a loss
  • 3 for a win in straight sets, 2 and 1 when it goes to a third

The golden point is not modelled, and does not need to be: whether a deuce is played out or decided on one point, the set still ends 6-4.

Features

Everything a padel league actually needs.

Standings that follow your rules

Three points for a win and one for a set taken in defeat, then head-to-head, set difference and game difference — the tennis chain, because padel ranks the same way.

Automatic fixtures

Every pairing × your chosen number of meetings, generated in one click when the league opens.

Players without accounts

Add someone by name and the league can start right away. They register with the same email later and pick up their matches.

Public standings

Share a link and anyone can open the table — no login, no account, nothing to install.

On your phone, in your language

Enter the score where you played it. The app runs in English and Slovenian, light or dark.

Traceable results

Every entry records who submitted it and when. Corrections go through a league admin, so the table never quietly changes.

FAQ

Padel leagues, answered.

Yes, and it is the usual choice. A padel doubles league ranks named pairs as teams: the pair is the competitor, it holds its own record, and the fixture list pairs teams rather than players.

Book the court. Rankelo keeps the table.

Create a league in a minute, add your group, and let Rankelo do the counting.
