Run a knockout that draws its own bracket.

Rankelo is a free tournament bracket maker for clubs, leagues and organisers. Add the competitors and start the draw — mirrored seeding, byes for the top seeds, an optional third-place match, and every result recorded where everyone can see it. Or let a league season decide the seeds and finish with playoffs.

No credit card. No cap on tournaments, entrants or bracket size. The draw takes a minute.

Brackets on Rankelo

A knockout is only as fair as its draw.

A bracket drawn on a whiteboard rewards whoever held the pen. Rankelo draws it by the book — and then runs it: winners advance, scores validate, and the tree is public.

Seeded like a real draw

The bracket is prefilled first-plays-last and mirrored, so seeds 1 and 2 can only meet in the final. Reorder the seeds before the draw starts — every ordering you can produce is a valid bracket.

Any field size

The draw rounds up to the next power of two and the byes go to the top seeds. 29 entrants make a 32-slot bracket with 13 first-round ties, and there is no fixed cap on how big a draw can be.

Your sport's rules, still enforced

Every knockout score is validated the way a league score is. Volleyball, basketball, floorball and ice hockey can play a round as a best-of series; the sports that normally draw decide a level match with a shoot-out.

Formats

A league, a knockout, or a league that ends in one.

Every competition on Rankelo is one of three formats, chosen when you create it. The sport, the scoring and the roster work the same in all three.

Round robin league

Everyone plays everyone, once or as many times as you set, and the table ranks the season. The classic league — and where Rankelo started.

How leagues work

Knockout tournament

No season, just the draw: order the seeds, start the bracket, and winners advance until the final. The fastest way to settle a club championship.

Season + playoffs

A round robin whose final table seeds the knockout. Once every round is played the playoff unlocks, the table freezes, and the top of it plays for the title.

How it works

From entry list to champion in four steps.

  1. 1

    Create a tournament

Pick your sport and the format — a straight knockout, or a league season that ends in playoffs. You become its administrator.

  2. 2

    Add the players

A name is enough — they do not need an account. Add an email too and they link to their own match history automatically the day they register.

  3. 3

    Start the bracket

The draw is prefilled by seed and stays editable until you start it. Byes go to the top seeds whenever the field is not a power of two.

  4. 4

    Play the rounds

Winners advance automatically and every result records who entered it. The final crowns the champion, with an optional third-place match between the semi-final losers.

Features

Everything the bracket needs, nothing to admin.

Standings that follow your rules

In a league that ends with playoffs, the season ranks by your sport's own points systems and tie-breaks — and the playoff phase can score by its own rules, so a best-of-three season can run best-of-five semi-finals.

Automatic fixtures

Every pairing × your chosen number of meetings, generated in one click when the league opens.

Players without accounts

Add someone by name and the league can start right away. They register with the same email later and pick up their matches.

Public standings

Share a link and anyone can open the table — no login, no account, nothing to install.

On your phone, in your language

Enter the score where you played it. The app runs in English and Slovenian, light or dark.

Traceable results

Every entry records who submitted it and when. Corrections go through a league admin, so the table never quietly changes.

Singles, doubles and teams

Rank players, named pairs or whole teams. A pair or team is a competitor with its own record, and every sport commonly played in pairs ships a doubles variant.
